cannot logon " unable to log you on because of an account restriction "

    Hi All,
    We have 2000 AD in our ccompany , but in a few day , many time
    cannot logon to AD , user must be logon many time as success the logon , the
    error is "
    unable to log you on because of an account restriction "

    this is AD problem DNS problem or other ????? the server is Termianl Server
    ?? is therminal server problem ????? Thanks

    Hi ,
    Thanks you help , but our user is logon to Terminal Server , on
    winxp not this problem ! and this error is sometime , if cannot logon , user
    must be wait about one min , or try again 2-3 time logon , he can logon
    again , but the server no change and restart ???????

  4. Hello pcnetnet,

    The article states about blank passwords and that also applies for the server,
    no password will gave you the error you describe. If they also have problems
    login to the workstation check your DNS configuration, that the workstation
    only points to your internal DNS server and to no other DNS server.
