I received an e-mail with attached Word file, and cannot open attachment. After a successful virus scan, I am asked to choose whether to open or save the file. Regardless of what I choose, the next window ("File Download") has only field names (such as "Estimated time left" and "Download to"), and remains unchanged for a very long time until cancelled. In the past I had the same problem with attached Excel file, but was able to solve it by deleting temporary internet filed, cookies and history. Now even this does not help. I tried to turn off the popup blocker - still nothing. Important: I never had this problem on my other PC. So, how do I open attached MS Office files???
