Running W Server 2003 and for some reason I cannot ping clients on the
network. I can ping peripherals with static IP and my gateway but no clients
with dynamic IP's I can ping the server from the clients though... cannot
    ping clients from clients however

    Any ideas?

    Check the firewall settings.

Check that DHCP is assigning the same gateway as the static devices are
using as well as the server presuming you want to have all in the same
    network.

With modern XP+ machines it is usually due to the XP-firewall
being enabled without allowing an EXCEPTION for ICMP
Echoes (which are what Ping responses are.)

See you NIC->Advanced settings for the firewall, and if enabled go
to the Settings (button) tabs and check the box for ICMP echoes.
