cannot recieve or send mess. it keeps saying can't find pop3 sever or the imtp

  1. how do i fix this it keeps asking if i'm hook up which i have no idea what

  2. Do you get an error message when you try to send or receive? If so,
    right-click on your error message, copy, then paste it into a reply here.
    We can't do much troubleshooting without the complete error message.

    For gmail access in Windows Mail, see all the settings,

    Did you enable POP access on the gmail account at the website?

  5. Go to Tools, Accounts, select that mail account, Properties, Servers.
    Uncheck the box for "Log on using Secure Password Authentication."
