    Hi There,

Canon IP4000R - (Wired & Wireless bubble jet printer).

Using the Canon network setup utility, Vista seems to block the application
from sniffing my local network for the network connected printer details so
it can complete it's installation of the tcp/ip printer port.

Although my printer is connected, and i can ping it from the CMD prompt and
i can access the printers web GUI from IE.

Wondered if anyone had any workaround? or suggested security settings/mods,
that allow Vista to complete the installation process.

NOTE: Vista FW & AV is turned off.
