    Hi

WMP (9) will only play .avi and .wmv files. I can't get it to play mpegs, except for those that I already have downloaded and are stored on my computer

Don't know what to do so any help would be much appreciated

    Thanks

    Mikko,

MPEG movies play through your Windows Media Player using a
codec. Try downloading and installing an MPEG codec.
You'll need to determine what version of MPEG (1-4) your
movie is encoded in and download that appropriate codec.

I downloaded Realplayer and solved at least some of my problems. Now I can download and play some mpegs off the net.
