Can't find server name ...

I believe to have configure the DNS well, but something say me no.
Infact if I try to make a nslookup to client computer I got the message
    below.

*** Can't find server name for address 192.168.0.1: Non-existent domain.
*** Default servers are not available
    Default Server: UnKnown
    Address: 192.168.0.1

Is it referering to NETBIOS name? Making a ping -a to the server address
doesn't resolve the name, but it's specified into computer's name property.
Must I add something inside DNS configuration?

Thanks in advance, and sorry for stupid question, but I'm trying to
understand a bit well how DNS works.

    No.
THis is nslookup doing its normal PTR lookup for the IP of the DNS server is
uses. It doesn't mean the DNS server isn't working ot that resolution isn't
working. It means that it cannot find the PTR record. That is, the PTR
record for the DNS server's address that contains the name of the DNS
server. Hence, that the "Can't find server *NAME* for address *192.168.0.1*"
Create a PTR record in the reverse zone named 0.168.192.in-addr.arpa. and
    the message will go away.

Thanks, but why for other clients the PTR was automatically added and for
server I need to add it manually?

    Thanks

Probably the same as your other problems, does the server have only its own
address as the DNS server in TCP/IP properties?
Post ipconfig /all (unedited) from the server.

Well, probably it could be the routing the problem, also because it's
impossible to share the connection along the network without it or other
    external software.

You must manually assign the address of the internal NIC on this NIC.

Configure this NIC's IP address for DNS here.

THen right click on Network Places, choose properties, in the windows that
opens, in the Advanced menu, select Advanced settings, then in the
connections pane move this NIC to the top of the list and make sure File
sharing and client for MS networks is bound only to this interface.
I hope you don't have ICS enabled, if you do, disable ICS and use NAT in
    RRAS to share internet.
ICS cannot be run on a server running DNS or DHCP.

    Don't understand.

I'm sorry, use the internal NIC's IP address for DNS on all NICs on all
    machines.
This event is caused from this machine attempting to make a secure
connection to your ISP's DNS to register its addresses and PTR.
Disable PTR registration on the external NIC and make sure the ISP DNS is
not used except as a forwarder.

Manually. If you can modify the DHCP option on the modem, you can also do it
that way. Whichever way you do it, all interfaces must only use the internal
DNS, no matter where the interface connects to.

    You've noted three:
The nslookup "Can't find server name..."
    5774 event
    40961 event

Repost a new ipconfig /all please.

I don't remember if between the line you suggested me, but the solution
    should be
    - remove the tag register this connection's address in the dns

The strange things is that I never removed it in the old configuration and
it alwasys gone fine with no error displayed in the event viewer. It's also
true that in past there wasn't the DNS Server and because this kind of
error is typically of DNS configuration it will be recorded only vby it.

    What about error 4011 instead?
