    Hi.

I'm trying to install a program through "install mode"..

at cmd prompt I type in change user /install and the message says,

"Install Mode does not apply to a Terminal SEver configured for Remote
    Administration"

What have I done to prohibit myself from installing in "install mode"?

    Thanks.

    Bryce.

You need to be in application mode, at least thats what they called it in
w2k. I was looking for a nice link but didn't find it. Use the add windows
components part of add/remove programs. Remote admin mode gets you just two
logins and its for administrators to do maintenance remotely.

    Lets see here...
    this might help:

    http://www.microsoft.com/windowsserver2003/techinfo/overview/quickstart.mspx

Scroll down to the installing section.

    Luck,

  3. hi,
for Terminal Server in administration mode you dosent need to put in install
mode to install/uninstall programs, you just install/uninstall like an
    ordinary workstation.
