Hi - I'm a newbie - but have a HP Pavilion Entertainment PC, with MS Windows
XP Media Center Edition. Have not yet upgraded to MS Vista OS, so still have
Just noticing that I can't access live stream video, maybe due to my having
Media Player 11? When I try accessing streaming live video, I get this error
message: Windows Media Player encountered a problem while playing the file.
For additional assistance, click Web Help.
After selecting Web Help, I get the following error message code C00D11B1
("cannot play the file"). Any ideas? This, even after I downloaded MS
Service Pack 3 today. Thank you in advance!

When you click the Web Help button - what's the full URL that it takes you
to? That may have an additional piece of useful data there.

In WMP's Tools:Options:Network menu options, what protocols are listed in
    the box there?
