I have an HP Media Center PC. Using Windows Movie Maker I want to capture
video from a VCR but it won't recognize the VCR. Im using Composite

Connect up you PC to the VCR via (ant in / ant out) and record thru MC, them
edit the recorded video with Movie Maker
You will need to tune MC to receive the VCR.

Thanks for the suggestion, but it's resolived...and I don't know how. My son
was here and I asked him to have a look to see if there was something I was
missing...he went through the same checks and trials that I did but all of a
sudden it recognized the VCR! At the time, I thought maybe having shut off
and restarted the VCR made the differerence, but since that first
recognition, it does it flawlessly over and over whether the VCR is on or off!

Wish I had some great tech answer, but, like so many things with computers,
the answer isn't really there, but now it works.

Thanks so much for the time in responding. I'll keep this solution in the
back of my mind for future reference.

    P.K.
