Capturing network packets on Vista

    Hello.

I have a question about network packet capturing for Vista.

I have 2 types of filter driver - NDIS 5.1 IM Filter and NDIS 6.0 LWF. In
normal mode they are working fine for Vista. Normal mode - device (and
    miniport driver) in D0 state.
But if I put device to D2 state they can't capture sent data (WXP allows to
get sent network packets by filter driver even in this mode but Vista
doesn't). Does anybody know how I can intercept sent packets in this case?

    BR.

  2. In power states other then D0, the hardware is not running and no packets
    can be sent.
Sending packets at D2, even if works by accident, is an issue of a
    particular NIC miniport.
