Can the ports be changed on both the client and server
2003 for Remote Desktop and how do you do this.

    Thanks,

    Kristofer,

Thanks for the reply. I know how to cahnge the listening
ports for TS, but I need to see if the ports for remote
desktop can be changed on the client side and on the
server side not TS. I know I can change the ports with
TS client on a client WS. I need to be able to change
the ports for Remote Desktop on the clients end.

    Thanks,

    Rob U.

  5. Sorry for not giving you a KB Article which explicity tells you that it was
working for Remote Desktop as well. I thought i should save myself some time
by taking the links i had available here.

    Anyway, here it is:

"How to change the listening port for Remote Desktop"
    http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;306759

"How to configure the Remote Desktop client to connect to a specific port
    when you use Windows XP"
    http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;304304

I don't think that there is anything explicity writing that it works on
Windows Server 2003, so you will have to trust me on that.
