Change Primary and Secondary Zones to Active Directory Integrated

I have 8 x Windows 20003 DNS servers globally (6 AD sites) setup with one
internal domain. The topology consists of a server with the "Primary Zone"
and 7 server servers setup with "Secondary Zones".

What is the best practice for changing all this to AD integrated? I cannot
find any documents on this. High availability of DNS in my environment is
quite important so when I make this change I need to be 100% sure that it
    will work.

What are the steps? Do I change all servers at the same time or can I
change each individually over a period of several days?

    Any ideas?

Delete all the secondary zones on all DCs, then convert the primary to AD
    integrated.
That's it, the most important part is to make sure all the secondary zones
are deleted so it doesn't cause a zone conflict when the AD zone replicates.

thank you - this is very useful information

    So my steps are

    1. Delete all secondary zones
    2. change the primary to AD integrated
    3. ????? is there a 3rd step? Do I need to make all the secondary zones
AD integrated or does that occur automatically?

    thanks again

No, that occurs automatically. To restate. Delete all secondary zones
except for one server. Make that one server's zone ADI. It will propagate
to all the other servers at the next AD replication cycle.
