    Hi all,

I am using windows xp machine and have PCI Parallel port hardware with
address space ranging (0xCF00-0xCF07). I need to change its address space to
0x378. I am writing a filter driver which will load before parallel port
driver and change its address space.

And already there is onboard parallel port which uses the address space 0x378.

Can i change the address space? if yes, will it work properly? please send
the related link that provides this information.

    Thanks in advance.

    Regards,
    Siddu

If some onboard device is already assigned to this address, you can't use
    it.
( yes you can change it if you try really hard, no it won't work properly)
