Checksum offload in network adapters

    Somewhere I read that turning off the checksum offload tick marks in the
    device managers on our network adapters will give us better throughput.
    After some preliminary testing, that appears to be the case even though I
    read in white papers that turning on the checksum offload should be what we
    do to enhance performance. Does anyone have any thoughts on this subject?
