Cisco VPN Client Access After Cluster Install

Discussion in 'Clustering' started by Brad Overstreet, Nov 19, 2004.

  1. Recently we migrated our file and print server to a two server cluster. To
ease the pain of the transition we used the same server name and IP address
for the file server. Before we did this when clients connected to the VPN
from outside they could ping the IP address or name of the server and access
files stored on it. Since installing the cluster they cannot ping the IP
address or name (name is resolved correctly by DNS). I do not know where to
begin with this so I will start with the cluster and the active directory and
work backwards. Is there some setting on the server or perhaps in active
directory that would cause this behavior? Any help would be appreciated.
