So I now have the companyweb up and running perfectly at the server.

But how do I automatically configure the clients to point their DNS to the
    SBS.

If I go round the clients and manually change their DNS it all works fine.

I am NOT using the DHCP server in SBS as my router does this job perfectly.

    Nearly there!

    Cheers

    Hi Daren,

Tell your router to supply the correct DNS to the clients by DHCP.
Usually they forward their own DNS or the ones retrieved from the ISP.
I am positive that there is a setting in the router.

Other approach: disable DHCP Server in the router, activate the one in the
    SBS.
Personally, I prefer this the SBS as DHCP-Server.

    Bye
    Franz

  3. DHCP should give the DNS information when it leases the IP address, but whats the exact error message your are getting. Try to release the IP address from client then
    renew it again.
