    Hey Everyone

I'm facing a peculiar problem. None of the clients are showing their reports
on WSUS Console. But it is getting the updates and patches are properly
installed. I have attached the log of one system.
These machines were recently upgraded to XP SP2. Firewall on these desktops
are disabled via group policy. Firewall Service itself is disabled on all the
desktops. I'm wondering how I can see the clients again on the WSUS Console
    ,,,
I have to provide a report to the managment. Any help is very much
    appreciated.

Here is the log details -----*****---------

    Hey Davis

I have jus not disclosed the Real IP here..It has a private IP of Class B
    Range..No Issues with that !!!

  4. Might I suggest, Santana, that if you want help resolving a network
connectivity issue, you ought to at least provide us with /REAL/
information. If the machine has a private Class B address (172.16.x.x -
172.31.x.x), then there's minimal risk in disclosing that information.

At a minimum, you could have at least provided a realistic (but false)
address, so we didn't spent these messages digressing on invalid network
configurations, rather than troubleshooting your actual problem.

As for the log snippet provided, there are no errors in the log. The client
properly called and succeeded in executing a reporting event.

In this case, the most likely cause is that this machine is a clone of an
image that's been used to build several clones, and the image was not
    properly prepared.

Try this 'fix' on this client. If it works, you'll need to do it on the

    Hey Lawence / Davis

I'm really sorry for not providing the real IP....I have taken your valuable
    suggestion.
Thanks a lot for the info / Link..It finally worked for me. Coz we had
imaged all the machines and it had taken same SUSClientID.

Thanks a bunch for the valuable Information.
