Clients disconnected from mapped drives

I have a 2003 SBS with 10 XP Pro clients. Many of the clients have drives
mapped to the SBS. After a period of time the mapped drives seem to
disconnect from the server - there is no red "X" - if you click on the drive
after a while it will ask for user name and password but they don't work. The
only solution seems to be to reboot the clients ... then they are connected
    for a while.

I don't know if it's related but periodically the event viewer on the SBS
shows a netlogon error 5781 stating "Dynamic registration of one or more DNS
records associated with the DNS domain 'xxx' failed. the records are used by
other computers to locate the server as a domain controller ..." There are
no other event viewer errors which appear applicable.

Any Ideas what might be going on here?
