Computer management & acitve directory

    In my network I add the user of the machine to the Local users and Groups a
    member of the Administrator, so they can install programs and so on. Our
    client machines run XP Professional.

    I have recently upgraded one of my servers to Windows 2003 Server Enterprise
    Edition. Ever since I did this the only location that I can choose is the
    local machine, even though I am logged on to the network. I think this might
    have to do with the way I have my active directory set up? Does anyone have
    any ideas?

  2. Hello Nicole
    You can use the policy setting Computer Configuration\Windows
    Settings\Security Settings\Restricted Groups to map group membership between
    a group in AD and the local administrators group.
