    Hi all

I' having a problem trying to connect a system running xp
pro; when prompted for the user name & password, an error
is returned: "the list of users & computers could not be
found on the server. Make sure that the SBS adapter is
configured correctly" This occurs even when using the
    admin ID and password.

Also what is need to connect NT 4.0 workstation?

    Thanking you all in advance.

I assume that other client computers can connect to the NT server, all you
may need to do is set the the WINS setting on the XP client to point to the
NT server. You could create a LMHOSTS file to point to the server on the XP
    client.
