Whenever I try to even start MCE on a Toshiba G20-126 (Pentium-M 770), I get
    constant error messages

ehshell.exe - Common Language Runtime Debugging Service

Application has generated an exception that could not be handled

    Process ID-0xc14 (3092), ThreadID=0xc24(3108)

    Anyone had anything similar?

I've got things working again now, I think it was corrupted guide file.

I downloaded MCECustomizer from http://www.mcedev.com/ and used the repair
function to delete my settings then ran it again to delete my guides.

Rex - the exact same thing is happening on my HP 854n Multi Media System (P4,
2.53GHz) system. If you found a resolution, or if anyone can help, I would
    really appreciate it.

    Sincerely

I have the same exact problem with my Z555.

Any other HP users out there with anything that is the same or different?
