Convert Archived WMA Lossless to WMA or OGG in WMP11: Best MP3 Pla

I have hundreds of CDs archived in WMA Lossless. I'd like to sync up with an
    MP3 player in WMP 11

I'd prefer OGG Vorbis codec , but WMA (normal) is OK, too.

I had a (now broken) iRiver H320. When I'd sync up with WMP10, the files
would transfer, but they were unplayable in the iRiver. I therefore had to
use an aftermarket program, and it was a tremendous pain, as Album tags were
    not transfered over.

So my question is: does anyone know a good player (or setup) that will allow
me to sync the player with Windows Media Player 11, keep all tags, and
convert from lossless to OGG or WMA (or anything playable for that matter).

    Cheers,
    Ixman

  2. I have an iRiver H340 which has similarly been almost unusable with
WMP(in any version). It doesn't support tracks > 320Kbps which
eliminates WMA lossless and VBR files.

    My suggestions are:
    * try Red Chair Software for synching; or
    * switch to Rockbox firmware ( IIRC that will give you OGG support directly)
