cda files are not audio files, they're the index files on recent CDs that
point to the audio tracks on the CD. To copy the cda file to your PC for use
with WMP, insert the CD and use the ripping capability to rip the CD or the
    specific tracks you want.

There are two ways to get the tracks added to your library. You can add them
on the CD or you can rip them to your PC as WMA (or MP3) files and add those
files to your library. So, if you ripped the CDs by using the rip
functionality in the Rip tab, then the files will be on your hard drive as,
    by default, WMA files.

Right-click any of those WMA files in your library and select Open File
    Location from the context menu.
