I run Vista Business. Can you suggest a solution for the following that
has occurred from my sending out my email newsletter in Windows Mail?
    - The newsletter is text only containing a few links.
    - I test everything first by sending the newsletter only to me. The
links work fine when the email arrives.
    - I then copy and paste the checked version into a new Windows Mail
    message
    - When the copied email arrives the links no longer work - an
    "Address not valid" message opens
    - Readers of my newsletter cannot open the links either
    - If I then highlight and copy the failed links directly to the
browser it opens perfectly.I have tested again and again with different variations of a brief
    email
sent only to myself. The emailed link works perfectly; the copied and
pasted version of that brief email has the same problem as above.

I've tested with and w/out my signature file attached but that doesn't
    solve the problem.
    All advice gratefully received.

    Windows Mail or Vista. Rick

  3. What happens if you Forward the message you sent to yourself (the one that
works) on to your readers and to yourself? Also, do the links work in the
e-mails located in the SENT folder? Check your settings in Tools | Options |
    Send.

Great thinking - you may have solved the problem with forward. The lin
opens to me. Will experiment further with a dummy list and report back
Links don't work from the sent emails of copies originally copied an
    pasted
Greatly appreciate the lateral thinking ty

Unfortunately the forwarding idea is not the answer for my newslette
because I copy and paste summary items from elsewhere. The only solutio
I have found is the annoying process of preparing the newsletter
cutting each link and pasting it in the browser to open the webpage the
copying and repasting that to the newsletter. I'll persevere with tha
until a fix is provided I assume for Windows Mail. (I never had thi
problem with earlier newsletters compiled in Microsoft Outlook an
    running XP.) Thanks again
