COPYING IN 64 BIT VISTA

Discussion in 'Windows Vista Help' started by Dave Boomhauer, Aug 15, 2007.

  1. Over the weekend I thought "Right Vista's been out for a few months now so
I'll give it another go and wipe off XP Pro completely and install my 64 bit
    version of Vista Ultimate again".

    I wish I hadn't..........

1)The harddrive is constantly working - This is noisy and seems to be
    hogging the system

    - WHY

2)I use Shareaza (a p2p application). The program had downloaded an 8 Gb
file of X Files Season 4 and (as setup in the options) was attempting to
move the files from C: to my other physical harddrive (D:) - IT WOULDN'T
MOVE saying there was an error. I assume after investigation this is due to
some security feature preventing copying of files without user interaction
(this is useless as I'm not sitting in front of the PC 24/7............

HOW DO YOU GET AROUND THIS?

    (Thanks for constructive help)
