    Hello Vincenzo di Russo
    I went to http://support.miscrosoft.com/kb/941729 & followed the
instructions 1-5. I then returned to windows update & saw that the update
was installed again. I then went to view updates & saw that this
update..STILL.. had a check mark. I unchecked it, exit, return & it was
CHECK AGAIN. That's why it keeps updating.
    Waiting ur feedback

  6. Courtesy of my colleague MVP MowGreen:
Strongly suggest you boot the system to Safe Mode and rename msxml4.dll from
    within that mode:

How to boot to Safe Mode -
    XP http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tutorials/tutorial61.html#winxo
    Vista http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tutorials/tutorial61.html#vista

Printer software holds msxml4.dll in use [re: it's locked and can not be
replaced] in normal Windows mode, that's why I recommend you rename it in
    Safe Mode.
