Cox Cable Set Top Box Not Working

I've got the Scientific Atlanta Explorer 2000 set top box
for Cox Cable in San Diego and I cannot get Windows MCE
to accept the codes and control my cable.

Can anyone help?

 

I have the same one in Phoenix. I choose the first code set and it is
working fine. Is the remote working and is the infrared blaster connected
and position right in front of the blank space next to the last digit of the
clock. I use a piece of tape on the top of the box to hold it in position.
Don't know what else to suggest.

 

I've got the Explorer 2000 in Montreal and it's working fine here as well
with the first code set.

I would re-run the TV Setup Wizard and see if it works better (although you
probably tried that).

 

I have a cox account in Santa Barbara and it works great
for me so far.
