Discussion in 'Windows Small Business Server' started by Rajiv Khandelwal, M.D., Oct 3, 2005.

  1. We have downloaded the following update but it is not getting installed.
Neither does it give any error message. Kindly suggest how to install it:
Critical Update for SQL Server 2000 Desktop Engine (Windows) on Windows
    Server 2003 (KB829358)

    Thanking you in advance.

Are you having problems accessing the companyweb website? Are you haveing
    other issues with Sharepoint?
If neither of these are the case then you really don't need this update.

What you haven't said is if you have applied SP1 or not. I would be more
concerned about getting SP1 installed vs
this update. And if you do have SP1 installed then you don't need this
    update.

  3. Thanks Clark for your response. We have installed SP1 and this download took
place automatically as a part of the Automatic Critical Updates.
