I recently downloaded a critical update from Windows for my Millenium version, Critical Update for ADODB.stream [KB870669] is what it was labeled. It downloaded no problem, in less than a minute, but i sat and waited for the installation to start and it never did. After about 30 minutes of sitting there, i exited out and tried again with the same result. Is there something a novice such as myself can do to get this update installed? Or is this a possible symptom of a larger problem due to the fact that my computer is 5 yrs old? I have performed many updates in the past with no problem whatsoever. Any help and/or ideas will be appreciated.

I also have had this problem all of a sudden lately, on all 3 of my computers, so I don't think it's on my end?! What the heck has Microsoft done now?
