Im just beginning to get a number of permission denied messages which I
    think
are cross domain issues when using httprequest

Can any one clarify whether there are any issues in general when requesting
subdomain resources within the same domain

eg are there any browser setting that must be set ?

    Hi rvj,

Yes, generally, requests made to a site in a zone of a different security
rating will be forced to open in a new window.

Request made for local resources (ie. a local html file) require the local
file to have the Mark of the Web in them.

Permission Denied error messages usually occur when you try to execute a
script from a domain that is in a different security zone from the one of
the page from where it is called, or you try to execute a method of the
WebBrowser control (see the setting for Allow Scripting of the WebBrowser
Control in the Security tab of Internet Options)

    Regards.
