CSS rounded corners fine in Firefox, IE 6 NOT in IE 7

I have perfectly fine-tuned CSS/XHTML that positions text blocks between
rounded corner images above and below the block.

Though it renders flawlessly in both Firefox and IE 6, I find IE 7 throws
the images about 50 pixels to the left of the text block.

    Any sage advice?
