DC and DHCP question(s)

  1. Hi Paul,

Just to get this correct, and I know you know it (the page you posted
    states that right):

The Infrastructure Master may reside on a GC if every DC _in the
    Domain_ is a GC.

In this thread I've found twice the statement that in a multi-domain
forest all DCs need to be GCs, which is misleading. Just all in the
domain where the Infrastructure-Master resides on a GC.

    Hi Ulf.

Yes. Excellent point! And thanks for clarifying that. In my haste to type
and post my previous post(s) was a little misleading :-(

It's an interesting argument always, and one that will vary from enterprise
to enterprise. The important thing here, and one that we are ALL stating,
is that GCs are a necessity and one is simply not enough ;-)

  3. Yes, indeed. This is just one of the statements which triggers me
because it's mostly mistyped and in the enduser-space misunderstood.
I've stated it not 100% correctly a couple times as well, so I try to
    avoid any more misunderstandings.
