Deleting a file when activex is damaged

I use snapfish to print my digital files. Since getting a new laptop with
windows Vista home premium pre-installed, I have been unable to access the
snapfish bulk uploading program. I have been able to trace the issue back to
a damage ActiveX control, however, the only resolution that I can find is to
delete the program file. Vista, because of the asine security features
designed to protect me from myself, will not let me delete this file. Aside
from trolling the internet and finding someone smarter to crack the arcane
security features on MY computer (funny, I own it but cannot use it. That
stinks.) is there anyway to delete the file so I can go back to uploading
albums instead of photos one at a time. I apologize ahead of time for the
disgusting nature of my rant. I am extremely upset because of the controls
and right now am wishing for an alternative to MS.
