Detection of Office 2003 with slipstreamed hotfixes.

I have a network copy of Office 2003 that has SP1 slipstreamed into it and
all of the released hotfixes and patches. Whenever I update the network
    install files I run "msiexec /i \\Vulcan\Office2003\pro11.msi reinstall=all
reinstallmode=vomus" from the workstations to update their copy with the
latest version. Now that WSUS is working pretty well and is stable witht he
2.0 release I would like to task WSUS to just take care of the Office
updates, but my problem is that WSUS does not detect the SP and hotfixes as
already being installed (I am guessing because of the way they were
installed.) Has anyone else run across this? Please let me know if you can
give me a push in the right direction.

  2. Yes.. WSUS does not support slipstreamed AIPs.

If you want to execute patch management on Office via WSUS, your AIP needs
    to be the RTM code.
