Device Driver is not listing under Device Manager

  1. My Device Driver is non-plug and play driver, but I implemented AddDevice
    routine.
When I install my driver ,it should list under Device manager under non-plug
and play device driver key, but it is not listing and registry doesn't have
    Root\LEGACY_MYDRIVERNAME\0000.

I have a doubt, because of AddDevice routine causing problem or some other
things, I have to consider, It will great help for me if anybody answer as
    early as possible.
    thanks in advance.

    Regards

    Hello,
Before you search for any bugs in your driver, make sure that your ".inf"
file is correct. You said that driver is not listed in the specified key.
This is an indicator, that the something with your inf file is wrong.
Therefore your AddDevice() routine will not be called.
How does your inf file look like? Which sections do you cover?

Only PnP drivers have AddDevice routines. Non-PnP create all device objects in
    DriverEntry.
