DFS -R2 clients not connecting to correct namespace servers

    Hello all,

I'm having an issue with about 30-50 DFS clients not redirecting to the
correct namespace. They map a network drive to \\domain\share, and since we
have several domain controllers at several different sites, sometimes these
clients point to a DC across the country that has no relevant DFS information
that they need. We have two DFSR2 servers here at our corporate datacenter
and one in another location. Now, these are most often laptop users, that we
do not join to our domain. We usually keep them in the "WORKGROUP"
configuration, and specify their credentials when mapping the drive. If they
don't attempt to connect to an incorrect server, they sometimes get: "Unknown
network error has occurred". I have it set in our DFS management to exclude
targets outside of client's site as well. I have sites set up for each
physical location in our organization. Any help you guys could give me, I
    would appreciate it.

Do you have you IP Subnets setup in your sites?
