Here I am looking for any kind of help.

History: I use to have cable and it was connected to my MCE Computer and I
use to watch TV and record TV on my Computer without having any problems. Now
I got Dish network with one receiver with 2 remotes (I want to avoid $4.99
for second set top box or receiver). My Dish has a antena where by 2nd TV can
be connected and accessed the same set top box via 2nd remote. I connected
cable to 2nd TV and successfully accessed the channels via 2nd remote.

Now I connected the same cable to my MCE System and not able to setup the TV
signal. Did anyone has any idea what I am talking. Hope someone is already
using single Dish receiver to connect to TV and MCE.

Desperately I am looking some help. Please let me know if I am not clearly
    explaining the problem.

    Thanks in advance

  2. Can you watch 2 different channels at the same time with your Dish
receiver? I'll assume yes for now.

Does one or both of the remotes use infared, or are they using RF to
control the box. You need to use IR for MCE to be able to change the
channel and I'm concerned that at least one of the remotes is using RF
so that you can control the box while not in the same room.
