I'm having the same problem with DLink 510 Rev B PCI. Its listed in Beta 1,
and its recognized but the device manager keeps telling me it "Can't find the
specified file" when its installing the driver. Tried XP driver to no avail,
    the Vista one is non-existant.

Without this device, Vista is useless to me. So Sad.

If anyone knows how to get the drivers from Beta 1 please let me know.
    Thanks

I have this as well, and have been unable to find any drivers for it. Like
you, Vista is useless to me without this device working.

Dlink have stated to me that they have not current release dates for Vista
Drivers for any of their products.

I guess they're waiting until it comes out of beta and stabalises a bit more
    before doing anything.

For me this is a royal pain in the ass because my whole network is wireless
    with a DSL-G604T linked to via the following (each in it's own machine);

    2x DWL-G520M
    1x DWL-G520
    2x DWL-G510

Hopefully Microsoft will light a fire under D-link to get them moving and
avoid Vista not being tested with any D-Link products.

I do not know if this will be any help or not. I installed Vista Beta on my
"test" machine. It got all messed up. I followed some of the advice in this
forum and partioned my hd to have a partion for XP and a partition for Vista.
I restored orig XP to it's partition and a new Vista install to the Vista
    partition.

This old machine has the same exact DLink 510 in it (just installed 510
about two months ago). I tried using the DLink installation wizard- wireless
did not work, undid all of that. I then used device manager and browsed to
the DLink CD for it to find the drivers. After they installed, I then
"connected" to the connection, when prompted for key, entered it and saved
the by checking the "save" box. It worked like a charm doing it this way. I
am using that machine right now for the response.

    The driver information is:
    Version 4.1.2.72 date 8/24/2005

Do not know if I am getting any "crossfeed" from XP partition where I have
the card set up also. I have read that in some instances if you do an
"upgrade" rather than a"new" install, the pci often works, then do a "new"
    install, you loose wireless.
