I have a problem with DNS cached lookups on a win2000 server DNS that
    forward request to ISP DNS.
Every 15 min the DNS server make a MX query for a cached address and start
an ISDN connection, someone can help me to stop this automatic query or to
    increase the query interval ????

    Thanks

Do you have an SMTP server querying for an MX record?
Is it one particular mail domain?
If you don't have an SMTP server there should not be an MX query, in that
case you may have a worm.

    Use Outlook Express?... Get OE_Quotefix:
It will strip signature out and more

  4. I would check using NetMon who is making the MX query to the dns server.
The dns server does not do this on its' own.

It sounds to me like someone has sent internet mail into Exchange and
Exchange is trying to deliver it.
