I am having a problem with my AD integrated DNS. About every 2 -3 days one of
my sites disappears from DNS. I can run netdiag /fix on the DC that is the
site DC for the Sties that disappears and all is fine. I have not found any
clues in the event logs about this either.
Any ideals what might be the problem?

  2. Hello DPassed,

Do you mean under the "_sites" in domain.com zone? This will happen if you
remove a site in AD sites and services and should not happen automatic. Can
you post an unedited ipconfig /all from the DC/DNS in your domain.

Did any crash/restore or new install occur before this starts? Did you run
dcdiag /v and netdiag /v to check for errors? Also run repadmin /showrepl
to check replication between the DC's.

    Best regards

192.168.240.80 That is the other DC/DNS server at the remote site connected
    via T1.
We only have 2 sites and 2 DC's connected via the T1
I have two sites in AD sites & services each site has the local DC in it and
the subnets that are local to the DC.

  6. Hello DPassed,

Please post an unedited repadmin /showrepl from both DC's. Also a complete
dcdiag /v and netdiag /v from both.

    Best regards

  12. Hello DPassed,

In leeaerosvr i see "The DNS registration is disabled for this interface"
so make sure DNS registration on the NIC is enabled. Compare both netdiag
in the "DNS Test" section(search the textfile for "dns test"). On tgi-taswidc
    it looks ok.

Also makle usre the DHCP client service is set to automatic and is started,
    needed for DNS registration.

    Best regards
