Does Multi-touch Digitizer support multi-monitor?

    Hi all,
I know that HID Mouse driver for absolute movement can not support
multi-monitor (Because it only maps absolute coordinate into the coordinate
of primary monitor). So i don't know whether the Multi-touch Digitizer in
    Windows 7 supports multi-monitor or not ?

As long as the digitizer is always on the primary monitor, I don't see
why not. Or are you asking if 2 touchscreens can be used on a single PC?

If the latter, I'm not sure, but I'm guessing probably not, at least not
without writing your own filter driver. Among other things, there's no
explicit association in the HID descriptors between any digitizer and
    any particular monitor.

I think the OP was asking if a Digitizer (a physically separate input
device not attached to any monitor, commonly used with high end CAD
workstations that traditionally have had multiple monitors since before
NT kernel 1.0 hit the market in 1993) can be configured/programmed to
have its input surface mapped to the entire Windows desktop, not just
    the "primary" monitors portion thereof.

No, he's asking about a "Multi-touch Digitizer"... those are inherently

Thanks so much for all your helps.

My problem is that i wrote a multi-touch Digitizer for virtual device, then
i also develop an app to send multi-touch data to my digitizer to simulate
some actions on the second monitor but it only simulates on the primary
monitor. Seem multi touch Digitizer cannot simulate actions on other than the
    primary monitor ???

Without some kind of filter driver that sets the virtual desktop flag
and restricts the reported coordinates to the secondary display, no,
    they can't.

Even *with* one, I'm not sure Win7's multi-touch gesture processing
would recognize the virtual desktop flag or handle the coordinates
correctly. Might be interesting to test that.
