    Hi,

I've recently configured a GPO to set proxy settings in IE for my users.
This work great, however some of the computers are laptops that are
    occasionally disconnected from the network.

My problem is that while the laptops are connected to the workplace network,
everythiong is fine - but when the laptop users take their computers away,
and connect to other networks, they're unable to properly browse the web as
IE simply can't locate the proxy server (for obvious reasons).

Does anyone know of a way I can disable the proxy setting GPO when the
computers are not connected to the domain? Thanks in advance.

    Tools-Internet Options-LAN Settings-Check Automatically Detect Settings

I think this should do the trick for anyone that needs to connect elsewhere.
I am surprised IE is behaving this anyway, but I am using IE once again
    after a long hiatus.
