DOS Additions & EMM386

Discussion in 'Virtual PC' started by George Paleologos, May 4, 2004.

  1. My Host OS is WinXP and the guest OS Win3.11. I've tried
to install DOS Additions in order to have share folder
enabled but i couldn't because in the guest OS i have to
use the EMM386. Does anybody know how can i use share
folder option and also use upper memory in the guest OS?

Those functions are incompatible (at least for now).

You can load network drivers in DOS and connect to the Host machine
through the network (like any other physical PC would have to do).

  3. Please read the many posts on this subject on this
    newsgroup. The two are incompatible.
