    Hello all,
I have been using a DOS based program called RBASE 5000 ever since the DOS
hayday and it works very well in VISTA. I normally change the ICON of the
shortcut to something other than the normal windows assigned icon. In VISTA
it will let me change the icon except it will not actually change. The icon
that shows on the desktop is just a plain white folder. I changed the
privileges to no avail. Any suggestions?

  2. XP has a per user IconCache.db

Does Vista have an IconCache that you can empty/delete?
