"Downloader.Trojan" bug

    I think I got this bug. Explorer won't let me (a technologically retarded individual) reset my homepage. All the suggested fixes from Symantec are way beyond me. Anyone help?? Pleeeze?

    An earlier poster referred the following address. Download the CWShredder and run it..

    I had the same problems, followed MS steps exactly only to have the spyware somehow reattack. I have McAfee and Black Ice and neither prevented this or helped in eliminating it. This forum helped
