    Hi there,

I have an error that's been occurring lately, I'm just wondering if anyone
has had a similar experience or may know a fix for it. When attempting to
view images either through the filmstrip mode in explorer, or in windows'
picture/fax viewer, files display fine if scaled down from their full size.
However, when I try to view them at a larger size (after about 50% of full
size or more), either by stretching the window or hitting the full-size
button, the image pane goes blank and displays an error message saying,
    "Drawing Failed."

Anyone know if there's a way to reinstall this portion of the OS? Some kind
    of DLL or registry tweak?

    Thanks in advance,

    toki

You might want to try re-registering the shimgvw.dll (start, run "regsvr32
    shimgvw.dll")

If that doesn't help, you might want to post in a more appropriate newsgroup
(this would fall under microsoft.public.windowsxp.general or
    microsoft.public.windowsxp.photos)
