I get the following service error which shows up as a
serivce failed to start when the server reboots. This
seemed to have come up after an attempt to install an
external modem. That Modem is no longer connected but
this error keeps coming up after a reboot.

Any clues to resolve this error I cannot seem to find
this servicxe anywhere? IS it related to Directory
    services?

The DS1410D service failed to start due to the following
    error:
The system cannot find the file specified.

  2. If you can uninstall the program, that would probably be the best way to
solve it. Otherwise, set the service to manual or disabled.

I found out that this is a registry entry that needed to
    be removed from
    HKEY_LOCALMachine\system\currentcontrolcset\ds1410d
