    Hi,

Purchased a Sony Vaio (VGN-AR170)200GB SATA laptop which is running two
    Raid0 (100GB) drives and 2GB of memory.

Considering adding dual boot with Server 2003, SharePoint, etc...to
explore while at home. If I boot from the CD, the drives are not
recognized with either 2003 or XP PRO.

Worried about trying to install 2003 while booted due to a lost
    Operating System.

OK to install 2003 while booted in MCE?

Will it create a dual boot option?

    Advise appreciated!

    Jason,

Thank you very much...so this will allow the dual boot?

Also, it is looking for these drivers on a floppy I only have
CD and 2 memory stick drives..

    Please advise...again thanks!

  4. You can get a USB floppy drive fairly cheaply, possibly as low as $20
US, that would solve the problem.

It is also possible to put the required files on a CD, and I believe
that it's easy enough to tell the installer to look on the CD after
    pressing F6.

Or maybe you could even use a memory stick or a thumb drive.
