I have a Dell MCE with an ATI x600 graphics card. I have the LCD monitor on
the VGA output, and a Sony TV connected to the DVI with an HDMI/DVI cable to
the HDMI input to the sony LCD TV. This works really well.

One annoying thing is that occasionally when i turn on the sony TV there is
no signal coming from the PC. The only way I have found of overcom9ng this is
to go into display setting, disable the "extend my desktop on this monitor"
on the second monitor (TV), apply that setting, then go back into settings
and re check the "extend my desktop on this monitor". The monitor then works
    fine.

Is there a way of avoiding this, or is there a way i can do this via a short
cut keystrokelike the diplay monitor controls onn a Laptop or a script that
might run when MCE application is started ?
